Personally I feel sorry for Germany and I'm Dutch. I think they're discriminated against for being German and that's not fair at all. Had Finland performed this song, it would have won. In my opinion juries should judge the songs regardless of the nation first and afterwards be told whom they gave the points to. It could be easy.

Interesting fact: Germany actually placed 14th in the televotes on average, much higher than many other entries that ended up receiving more votes! They just managed to not be higher than 11 in almost all countries, which due to the points distribution means no points. Meanwhile a song that is 2nd in some country and 26th in others will receive more points from this one time above 11th spot.

As always, Germany has one of the most interesting performances and lands at the bottom of the list, with dull and average performances winning the honors. The vocalist had a pretty extensive vocal range, there were good special effects, the performance and the image of the band members were eye-catching. They visibly put a lot of energy into this performance and they were infectious with energy through TV. People are not mature enough for heavier music. I hope that the band will gain fans who will be able to truly appreciate them.

these guys put 200% into ESC and this does not go unnoticed. if you look at their social media posts building up to Eurovision, all the song covers and interviews, they seriously did so much more than any other performers and they were really enjoying the whole experience, you can tell it wasn't half-assed. in the process of having fun at such a 'cheesy' but grandiose song contest, they still took it very seriously 👏the unfortunate thing about Germany hardly scoring any points is that they do not take part in semi-finals, so they kinda lose opportunity to build a longer lasting connection with the fans. for example, at the semi-finals everyone already knew who Käärijä or Loreen are. and yet we only got to see Germany for the first time at the finals and the song contest is already over that same night... it's just different in that way.
but I genuinely hope that Lord of the Lost guys know they truly gave their all. I so much enjoyed watching their fun Eurovision interviews – what a bunch of cool, down to earth, lovable guys, especially Chris. his charisma and engagement in others really shines through. whatever the low score says, I feel they certainly have made an impact on people and acquired some new fans. even though I'm not a huge metal fan, I do wish I knew about them before Eurovision. good luck guys in any future projects ⭐ much love from Croatia ☺

I'm so happy I have discovered Lord of the Lost through ESC but their last place just broke my heart. I've been listening to their songs non stop for the past week, not only Blood and Glitter, but another ones and they are just fire! They remind me so much of my other favourite German bands, like Eisbrecher or Oomph!

This was one of the best performances and the placing is totally unfair. ESC just does not get quality metal music.
