Any German knows that „it’s edible“ is one of the highest forms of praise to give so appreciate it !

The snacks are exactly in chronological order of what my family used to eat on hikes.

I love how his imitation of a German accent and her imitation of the British accent create an equilibrium of British-German accentisation which makes them sound identical 🤣

I like the fact that you included LOTR music and "my precious" reference. Awesome.

I‘m from German-speaking Switzerland, and our father used to take us on 8h-trips with practically nothing to eat and just water to drink. I hated it, but it gave me lifelong physical fitness😂

As a German I can confirm: You always hear the LOTR soundtrack in the background, when you go on a short 6-hour stroll.

All this, just to stand on top of the mountain with a neutral look and say "Joa, schöne Aussicht"

I am a Czech guy and I love that nearly everything said or implied about Germany can apply to the Czech republic as well. We're neighbouring states and our culture is greatly affected by the German one.

The German running knowing beer is ahead and how he strokes it like the ring. Great skit

"How are the sandwiches that I prepared?"
"Its edible!"

Damn! He must really love her, if he praises her sandwiches THAT much!

he complimented your sandwich making skills in the highest possible way for a german and you can't even say thank you.

As a German, I can indeed confirm that the tour, as well as the accompanying music and behavioral traits, are accurately portrayed.
I myself took the same tour and several more in the local area, in which I displayed similar behaviors and choices of music.
All in all, the Video deserves a well-earned Gütesiegel.

Watching these videos are so comforting! My Opa is from Germany and moved here to the US a long time ago. He lives in Oregon and our activities involve long walks/hikes and trying to outrun each other down the trails, playing Yahtzee, Mensch ärgere Dich nicht, picking berries, and making jams/apple preserves. Every time I watch your videos I think of him and I miss him more everyday. Thank you for this content!🖤

I love it when you just straight up translate German sentences to English!

„The way is the goal“🤣🤣🤣

I did walk the Camino (Jakobsweg) in Spain 8 years ago. It does take 5-6 weeks for the classic route. In Santiago de Compostela we did meet a german who was proud to have done it in 3 weeks, just in time to go back working again the next day. It was the classic clishee and actually did show my fellow pilgrims that I was only moderate German with my travel guide, step counter, swiss army knife and always some food and water in spare if "something happens". 😂

I feel like I would have loved a German Walk/Hike so much before my genetics took a massive dump on my ability to walk. And breathe. And cope in the heat. 😮‍💨 Literally all of the German Walk videos I see are like "These people are out of their minds why can't we go home??" but I'm literally so taken by the beautiful views and trails available to just.... anyone? It's so beautiful there. 😭
