Jazakallahu Khairan Shaykh. Many people are under the impression that McDonald's and other fast food meats are Halal just because they may be 100% beef. However, not only are they not slaughtered properly, but the meats are cooked in the same place as bacon & pork products! I have worked in these places before.

I remembered looking at a comment on a store I was researching for halal meat from a sister which she gave the store 5/5 stars and what stuck out to me in her review was "I drive at least 45 mins to an hour to this store..." I remembered her giving a good review overall but her doing this at least once a week, while i live 20 minutes (15 mins if no traffic) from this store made me say to myself "i have no excuses."

Assalamualaikum. I have been telling brothers this for years but, unfortunately many years ago some brothers got a Saudi Shaykh to give a fatwa saying that the meat in this country is Halal. They mislead him to think this is a Christian country. I have been pointing out that the requirements for halal begins with how the animals are raised.

I'm living in France, and i heard a lot of Muslim saying that we can eat McDonald's and KFC ..., because it's "ahle el kitabe" to be honest I don't have any knowledge about that, but i know something "choubouhate" so instead of eating that junk food, i prefer halal one and we haveee a lot choice
