Judges in the US MUST be appointed by their PEERS for a set term, not by Politicians for LIFE

John Roberts and the court he presided over will not be remembered for its rulings, it will be remembered as a dark stain on the court's history.

Clarence Thomas is a total disgrace as a Justice.

Who leaked it? And how about Clarence Thomas's bride? I think I just answered my first question.

Remove all of the Trump appointees and Clarence. Treason will not be accepted in our courts.

Hasn't been legitimate since Garland didn't have a shot. There is no basic logic in the actual argument of dismissing Roe

Banana republic Court. They should be voted into office by the people and should have term limits.

Belief and respect of this Court?! No, that’s in the toilet for sure. Term limits for these judges would be something to consider. These judges are supposed to be unbiased and yet one belief is that they are not.

If you have to defend your legitimacy, it means your sliding towards illegitimatecy, but I'd say it's already to late!!

Defending the indefensible - JR continues to be out of touch... much like the rest of the Court

Your court is a joke Sir. When you have an actual cult member sitting on your court and they aren't the worst, you have a problem.

But, they do allow their oppinions to be dictactated by the right-wing.
They are right-wing activists judges.

Want to defend the Court's legitimacy? Stop shitting out terrible decisions with flimsy or no Constitutional basis, while simultaneously claiming that six to seven decades of established precedent are irrelevant. It makes the court look like a weak institution, and this will be your legacy as a Chief Justice.

do you think twas only the overturning of Roe v. Wade is the only thing here? this is a long time coming. there is the Clarence Thomas thing - conflicts in cases where his wife has interest. of course politics should be kept out the SCOTUS as a direct influence but....blessings to all

So we’re supposed to have faith in a Supreme Court that allows politics to determine rulings???

Just like the House and Senate, we need term limits. And I suspected we’d never learn who leaked the early opinion.

I've personally lost all respect fir SCOTUS. They seem to have forgotten or over looked the very first words of the constitution, "We the People". They should pay attention to the general population.

It’s far too late for that activist court. Pack it.

If you want to be "legitimate", don't create problems that destabilize.

If the President can pick who to appoint, and there’s a history to each judge’s prior performance, then one Party can make the court vote in favor of more conservative or more democratic values. That seems like a conflict of interest. Why don’t the people pick the judges?

No job should be for life. There should be more remedy for the people to oust these corrupt cronies
