For those who don’t understand, the Christmas truce happened is ww1 where German soldiers and British soldiers had a truce to celebrate Christmas. They danced, talked, exchanged gifts, kicked a ball around and overall had a great time

My great great grandfather was in ww1 he was shot in the leg but he survived the war. He never liked talking about it. He fought in 3 battles and we have his Purple Heart and other medals
