Fun fact, The first British soldier that shook hands with the German Soldier visits his grave every Christmas, to give him a pray of peace, and a piece of Chocolate in a glass casing to show respect to him.

Little explanation
So this is 1914 year as u can see in the video that they all having fun or like celebrating the chrismast. They all have fun for being friends but... After chrismast they already fight again and we dont have to worry they are still important because they are saving our own country or sacrifice they're self just like god to protect us and make us alive to this beautiful world

The two soldiers are Hans wolf (german) and Jim MacPherson
It was the morning of Christmas when at the border of german started showing a white flag
Soon both the troops saw it as a day of peace and they started playing football sharing marzipan and schnapps (a german drink) they both enjoyed that day and thought of going to their family members the next day but rest was history
And Jim the British soldier has promised his wife that he would come on Christmas
Its a saddest story

Personally, this is probably one of the most wholesome moments during a war. Even though they’re enemies, they didn’t want to fight each other.
