Been using 3/4" pipe clamps for 35 years, cheap, can make any length you need, strong, not plastic, easily adjustable.

Im a carpenter and i love harbor freight. The thing is you need to know what tools are okay to get a cheaper version and what you need to buy higher quality. Measuring and marking tools? Nah. Power tools....mmm maybe but probably not especially if its going to be something i use often. But other stuff hell yeah. I dont weld every single day but their auto darkening hood is a great buy and things like clamps, sandpaper, organization etc is too good to beat

I have 10 of the 24", 2 went bad right out of the store, took em back, no questions asked replacement, havnt had any issues since. Fantastic clamps.

Speaking of harbor freight, I would not buy their Pittsburgh clamps…bought two and when I clamped anything, the latch wouldn’t hold and just slide right back out of position.

The clamp is great for the price and warranty, there's no doubt about it. You may be using that warranty here and there, though. Wood Whisperer did an extensive (6+ month test?) on these and found a flaw. Still, great clamp if you don't mind maybe having to use the warranty. Sorry to plug another channel in your comments. I have no qualms with these clamps, but I DO wish Someone, Somewhere would do a presentation on optimal ways to clamp Irregular shapes. Not all of my projects have 90 degree corners and straight lines. Thoughts? 😢

I've really liked every Bessey tool I've owned, but maybe this is worth a look. One thing is for sure, most any of these are better than pipe clamps. Can you spell o-b-s-o-l-e-t-e?

Nope. A true test is how well does it work after 15-20 years. I have 3 top brands and the Bessey’s are the last that I reach for.

It's a lifetime guarantee of the product. As long as Harbor Freight carries it, they will replace it for free, no matter how many times it breaks.

Wood Whisperer did a 4 month review on these and had some trouble with the teeth stripping.

Maybe he got a bad set... Does anybody else have this issue?

Based on that, I kind of feel like it might be worth it to pay a little extra.

Unfortunately they're ALL Chinese made now so simply buy the cheapest. There aren't individual slave factories in China producing them, there's 1. One sub contractor mass producing each brand merely slapping a label on them with very minimal brand specific specs...
