This video illustrates the steps to a successful window film installation. First, a window film installer will thoroughly clean the windows to remove every microscopic piece of dirt.

Next, the installer will cut a piece of film roughly the size of the window to be installed. This goes for whether its an automotive installation or a window installation for home or commercial property.

A protective release liner is removed as the installer sprays an application solution to activate the film’s adhesive. The same solution is also sprayed on the window where the film will be applied.

With the film installed on the glass, the installer squeegees the application solution out from between the glass and film. The installer will also do some final edge trimming to ensure the film fits perfectly.
