"Ever Seen 700mph?" Yes. But not in this video.

I lived on an air force base for many years and have heard and seen literally hundreds of sonics booms. I can tell you unequivocally that there was no sonic boom in this video. I would estimate the 22's speed at 500mph to max 600mph. that is simply the sound of a twin engine fighter passing by at over 400mph. remember, the most concrete evidence in this video of no sonic boom, is that the sound matches perfeclty to the aircraft as it is approaching and passing by the camera. had that 22 been traveling above the speed of sound, you would have seen the plane pass by long before you heard the boom. hope this clears things up for folks. still, a fun clip but, an absolutely terrible and misleading title. cheers all and thanks to all military for their and their families' service

Definitely not 700mph... But still cool as hell.

The cool thing about the f22 is not that it can fly 700 or faster, but that it can fly closer to 70.

couple of things here... 1. if you can hear the plane coming, it is obviously not faster than sound. and 2. top secret (you spelled secret wrong)... top secret... on youtube... posted by some random dude lol.

700mph?! I’ve seen people push shopping carts to the Walmart clearance aisle, FASTER than this!

As others have said. . .this isn't 700 mph! To see it attend a BLUE ANGELS practice in the rear of the US Naval Aviation Museum, located in Pensacola FL. To give you an idea how fast it really is: You can see BA #5 coming toward you (from the left) but you can't move your head fast enough to see him disappear!  I've seen the Blues many times but only this .97 Mach AT 50' (YES 5-0), only once!

I was in Beaufort, SC last week near the MCAS. I’ve seen a bunch of F-18’s over the last few years, but I was stunned to see a group of F-22’s. Beautiful fighter.

I saw one of these at the EAA airshow in Oshkosh, Wisconsin today. Absolutely stunning. Very cool jet!

Good job on your completely untrue title to garner hits. And a private show?...LOL! No. Not ever. Whomever made this video needs to smack themselves.

This airplane can slow itself down enough to turn at a 180 degrees and continue in opposing direction, without losing Absolutely nothing beats that in that Russian scrap yard, those vodka heads call an "Air

The F-22 can cruise at mach one without afterburners,   it can target 6 targets at the same time while each target is linked with the other planes in your fighter wing all done at "out of sight range" all this while not being seen by the enemies radar.  The F-104 is child's paly in comparison.

At 700 mph, the aircraft would be traveling at over 1, 000 feet per second. The speed at which the sound barrier is broken depends on atmospheric pressure. At sea level, some 760 mph and decreases to 650 mph at 35, 000 feet. The title implies 700 mph, but no actual speed is given nor at what altitude and where. It's more like: "I got a video I know little or nothing about and I want people to see it".

I live about 20 minutes from Fort Dix and McGuire AFB, I see these in flight all the time going a hell of a lot faster.

who says that was 700? looks like standard subsonic high speed show pass, at 550/600 max.
