Go back to the 2 tap to engage FSD, that solved the issue for me

If I speed up and push the stick down, it seems to fix it. Sometimes it doesn’t catch a new speed limit right away like changing from 45 to 65

the camera above the rear view mirror is used for eye tracking, if you arent looking forward through the windshield it begins to slow down and uninitiates itself eventually

this was implemented a few updates ago

maybe the camera is simply dirty and needs wiping. i dont have this issue unless i look away from the road, i have a 2023 model 3

Do you have Automatic speed offset selected in your settings? This has worked out great for me in keeping up with traffic more naturally regardless of the speed limit.

Phantom breaking whenever asphalt repair lines in road.

Not slowing down when the car in front of you has a turn signal and slows to make a turn. Abruptling stopping eventually but not a pleasant experience

not enought info. looks like traffic in front of you was slowing as the pickup beside you slowed slower than your car.

You’re turning on the computer and it takes time for it to know what’s going on around you. I keep modulating the accelerator pedal to keep it up at speed once FSD is activated and after about 15 to 20 seconds I let it take over. FSD is supposed to be monitored so you can’t expect the computer to do everything for you. I don’t think this is a problem as you described. I just think it’s the computer taking over and figuring out what’s going on around you.

So you may wanna try rebooting the system by doing a cold reboot, and you’ll have to look that up to have it explained in more detail, as to the difference between just rebooting the screen, and doing a cold reboot that requires you to actually power the car off, and so if that doesn’t work, then you may wanna contact the folks at Tesla, and let them know about your experience.

So I’m currently driving on V12.3.3, and I had this happened recently when I was traveling over a bridge, and the car almost came to a complete stop, before I intervened, because the guy behind me was closing in on my rear end, all while smashing his horn, and so I disengaged, and started to drive the car manually, and so I’m not sure if the flashing yellow lights at the end of the road way after crossing the bridge had anything to do with the car attempting to come to a complete stop, but this is the first time that I’ve driven across that bridge with this particular version of FSD, V12, so that’s all I got, and so I hope you’re able to find a solution soon. This "phantom braking" is something that we experienced 1-2 years ago in our 2022 Model Y. In early 2022 a software update fixed the problem for us.

This latest update is garbage. Not only does it slow down for no reason it will also say you are being inattentive and give unnecessary strikes.

This update is the Karen update. Get rid of it.
