3 years ago I had to have oral surgery and the surgeon said he needed me to have oxygen therapy because of Cancer complications that would make the healing process more lengthy and difficult. It took the better part of a month to finally get the approval of the Advantage plan. It was a real nightmare on top of other nightmares I had to deal with. He forewarned me, I will not repeat what he had to say about Advantage plans. I am healed up and alive today because of his skill and willingness to fight for me.

Do people know Supplemental plans premiums are growing in excess of actual rate of inflation not Govt measured inflation? I cant afford it in 10 years, for sure.

My main issue with disadvantage plans are the networks. Doctors coming and going at any time. If you'd like to go to Florida during the winter, your coverage doesn't travel with you. If HDG didn't exist and a person lived in New York It would be a no-brainer to go on an advantage plan because those plans can cost you $250 to $300 a month for G or N at age 65.
