This should be made the same throughout the entire US. If a voter cast their vote before death, it should count. The date casted and death date are tracked, no possibility of fraud. It's rediculous.

Wow! I’m going to vote early in person, but I filled out my absentee ballot and put it in the safe, with explicit instructions that my husband has to drop it off or mail the day that I die, I don’t care what happens! These are part of my final wishes, should something happen to me before the election.

I’ve been text banking, checking if voters have received their mail-in ballots and telling them where the drop boxes are. One voter was relieved because her ballot had just arrived:

“I’m in the end zone with my cancer and I so need to vote in this most important election. My last vote of a lifetime! I hope my kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids realize how I’m fighting hard to stay alive and vote for real freedom.”

Well in my mind Jimmy Carter is not just another any ordinary person he was the President of USA so to me his vote counts. I'm sure other people has there own opinion so this is mine. And am interested in this issue.

Well now this begs the question, if you’re so old that you may not live to see the election, should you even be voting? Should there be a maximum age limit? There are people in my union who cast votes on things like contracts or Executive board members but are mere months from retiring and are doing so not for any other reason than to disrupt the future of the union of which they won’t even be part of. I don’t know if that made any sense
