Bosch Range Lower Element Replacement

This is a Bosch HIIP055U Induction Range (oven). There's almost no information on replacing the lower element; I guess there aren't many people who buy this range and do their own repairs? This model has a piece of sheet metal that traps the lower element in place; that sheet curves down below the oven cavity and runs all the way to the front of the oven. The only way to access the element is to bend that back piece outwards and downwards, which is a little crazy for a higher-end appliance like this. Otherwise the construction is excellent. This element failed after 5 years of regular use; I really hope it was a fluke and the new element will last longer. Sorry for no video; this was a long, investigative process and afterwards I combined the relevant pictures with text descriptions.
