Nice tutorial, good to see the use of 'old fashioned' screwdrivers instead of the ubiquitous cordless.

Thanks so much for putting this video together! My conventional oven has not been getting hot enough since power tripped out recently - your video has helped me diagnose the issue (lower element has blown and I suspect this is what caused the circuit failure) and order a new one. Keep up the good work :-]

what do you do for a built in oven with no fan and no element visible? do I have to remove it from the surrounding cabinets or can you repair the element from the front? there looks like screws around the inside of the door.

Great video. Got my element out - it was shattered into 5 pieces. On removal I noticed that the bottom of the enclosure tray where the element sits was warped out of shape (thin metal). It pops in and out of shape with movement. Can it be trusted or should I just scrap the oven? It's a cheap ikea oven.

also, I can't find the model number, I know it's a lamona brand, can find numbers inside the door, three sets. but what I think is the model number... sticker inside the door had been burnt. The door seal broke and heat got to it.
