also tip, at my work we have to use a bunch of tape on top of the wire nuts. so to reverse you can go to where the power is feeding and flip the leads there to reverse it

Maintenance job has us do these for a entrance test, looks simple the way you explain it. Just follow the diagram. If it turns wrong way reverse 2 leads

Excellent video. Exactly what I was looking for.
However, are those aluminum wires in the motor? Or tinned copper? If you're hooking up aluminum to copper, which you shouldn't do, you need to use special AL-CU marked wire splicing connectors or wirenuts, the purple stuff, to avoid connecting Dissimilar Metals. NEC 110.14 .
