My 3DS is in a state where it can't last 5 minutes off charge, but I still try to keep it safe and functioning, it's sad to see the eShop die, but the 3DS was definitely one of the greats

When I first got my 3ds I took it everywhere, got street passes and wondered how people made SpongeBob, then in 2017 when I learned I was moving schools I made all my classmates a mii. Then in 2018 I got my switch and played up till recently when I found my 3ds in my closet I ordered a new charger It arrived today, the day after the E-shop closed and all I have have left are The street pass miis that I spent hours trying to recreate, my old classmates, and videos of summers gone by in other words The 3ds Will always be apart of my childhood. (also thanks to the random kid in the bus I sat next to he had a 2ds so I asked for a 3ds for christmas, I would have never gone on this wondeful journy without him)

I got my 3DS and Wii U games exclusively through physical media (it’s more satisfying in my opinion that way if a bit riskier) but you guys all have my deepest sympathies with the closing of the eshop. RIP

dude, i was doing the exact same thing with both my wii u and the 3ds, trying to download as many demos as possible as well as the free themes. im going to miss using it

Why Nintendo doesn't hear their fans? Sony didn't close PS Vita store, because of their fanbase and all disappointments. The sad truth is Nintendo doesn't give a s**t a about its devoted fans. It's time to end this toxic love. All they care is money, when it stops to paying off, they simply close it no matter how many people don't want it. And the people buy their games in a hurry, while they shouldn't.
