Nintendo 3DS - The 3DS eShop after the eShop Closure
Показать описание
Well, it happened. The one thing we didn't want to see go and now it's gone. Farewell 3DS eShop. You will be missed.
We explore the 3DS eShop just minutes after it's closure to see what is left of the shop. The only thing you can do is redownload any games that you have previously purchased before the eShop closure as well as merging your funds.
Remember: You have until March 2024 to merge whatever remaining funds you have left from the 3DS and Wii U with your Switch before the March 2024 deadline.
In the American version, you can only look at Nintendo Select games that you could get at a lower price for 3DS games. However since you have no way of digitally downloading the games from this shop, you can only get these games physically through any game stores that have those games.
In the Japanese version, you are shown a list of games that have free updates that can be updated to the latest version of any game you have purchased before the eShop closure. This doesn't include DLC's, even if they're free.
In the European Version, it still shows genre of games such as Mario, Pokémon, Kirby, Zelda, Animal Crossing, and so on. However, you still can't purchase since it's "software currently unavailable". This layout feels as close to the eShop before the eShop closure, very good for a browsing experience.
I don't know what it shows for the Korean versions of the 3DS. But I guess it won't show much like it has shown in this video.
