G O R G E O U S!!
Kacha,
You were the 1st furniture artist/restorer I ever watched and inspired me to redo my first ever piece, our dining room buffet, which was grandmother’s (using the same technique but w/ AS Louis Blue, Waverley’s elephant gray). I watched a video you did about 100 times before I worked up the courage to finally do it. You used the same colors, watched how to apply AS clear wax for protection, AS dark wax and gilding wax for the hardware (I did silver). Plz understand, I had never painted a thing (other than walls in my homes over my lifetime) until this piece and looking back, it’s not the most basic/entry level techniques to try my first ever piece of furniture. That was 3yrs and over 25 pieces ago, which I have sold or were commissioned. I’ve branched out by trying different paint brands, brushes, techniques, stencils, decoupage, transfers, etc, by watching hundreds of videos by you and some other furniture artists. But it’s all because I found that video of you (literally by accident) painting in your old dining room on YouTube one night. So thank you for every video you post, for inspiring me to try something I knew nothing about, that I’m now completely in love with doing and turning it into a business (I just ordered a Surf Prep 3x4 sanding system bc I have 5 huge pieces, given to me by my old neighbor, in my garage waiting to be made over! It arrives Friday!) Oh and funny thing about that buffet: I’ve always HATED anything blue. I told my husband when we married there will never be anything blue in our house(his favorite color). BUT that buffet is still my favorite piece (and his) and still look amazing in our dining room (when it isn’t covered with plastic or tarps to protect it while I paint in there lol). So again, thank you.
Sending you hugs from Dallas.

Very nice & well done. These old buffets are made so sturdy and beautiful. I love how artists like you are saving them by giving them new outfit to wear and bringing back the glamour. You're not only a painter - you're a Preservation Conservator.

Kacha I think you are so amazing. I’m the daughter of a painter and my only artistic talent is coloring in a coloring book. But during this quarantine I’ve gone outside my comfort zone to keep busy and add color to my home and I’m addicted to watching you. My Dad is moving in a few weeks and I’ve decided to try this on a dresser for him as a housewarming gift. You’re a total inspiration!!

Kacha this is the most beautiful piece I ever seen. I’m practicing it by painting while I’m watching your video. My first attempt was quite disaster, it was too dry and lumpy but I’m not giving up until I’ll master it 😃

Thank you so much for your videos. I was happy to learn about gold gliding wax...I love golden details. I ordered it and already used it. LOVE it. Dry pairing is great technique, I enjoyed to learn and practice new techniques for myself. Thank you.

Just Beautiful!!
You are amazing with a brush, thank you so much for showing so many options.
I'm seeing that dry brushing is better if the furniture has more details and the smooth blending for items with less detail. Thanks for sharing your talent ♡
