Mr. Schwartz stated as the massdrop that initially the Perpetua was slated to be 57-58 rc and the community reacted and he said they up it to 61 rc, so he was right on the money glad I got one -thank you so much LTK you da man

Fantastic info. The spreadsheet gave me the final bit of info I needed to finally try a Twosun knife. Though not on the spreadsheet, I ended up getting the TS21 and I really like it.

Millit Knives Perpetua, was a real big surprise for me!
I remember when that page was went up, on Massdrop. People started complaining right away, about their target spec of 57–59 HRC. They came back pretty quickly, and promised that it would be at the higher end of that range, or better. Man, they sure did deliver. I have to wonder now though. Why they never did change the spec on the listing?

Great video. Just want to correct a small detail about Dicoria Sailing. Dicoria is only the name of the dealer, the manufacturer of Sailing is Huajiangfang(华匠坊). According to my memories, Dicoria sometimes brand his name on advertisement web page of the knives he sells as a endorsement if Dicoria believes his customers are unfamiliar with the manufacturer.

They probably used aluminum oxide to blast the blade I’m guessing that’s why it picked up the aluminum

yea buddy batch 12. And i got the knives back. Thank you Ltk. Its funny i knew that sailing was a prob below 58 i could tell in the edge holding. Also knew the tauren held and edge like a mofo. Also massdrop came out and they said it would be 61 before it came out. They got heat gor 59 so they did 61. Also that perpetua has the ziriblast finish on it. Mine originally came with bad staining/ discoloring on the blade so they hooked me up with a new blade with the ziriblast. Man i was expecting the 0909 to be below 58 with all the hate and drama with that blade. Personally i think below 59 on s35vn is a fail. We need to demand more from these companies. at 58 hrc s35 performs way less than properly hard s30v. Asome Job Ltk.👍👏
P.s. The tauren was got during the last 4th of july sale. its a shame its not there anymore cuz thats an awsome blade. think it was 99 bucks.

*No offence, but i don't see the point in testing expensive knives to verify the steel. Most cases They will be made from the advertized steel and the hrc will be also in the advertised range. If i just look back what you have done for the community*

*1. You have exposed the companies like efengrow, fura and Ystart for labeling their knife with some random steel names. I think this has saved many peoples money*


*2. You found the Gem of budget Knife companies "GanZo". And more over you found the only Ganzo knife we shouldn't buy*


*But from last couple of videos you are only testing expensive knives in which i see no point in "Verification".*
*In my opinion you should include at least a couple of budget knifes in every test batch. Who knows may be we find other Gems like Ganzo's.*
