HOW TO OVERRIDE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFTER LOCK, STUCK IN PARK, SHIFT TO DRIVE REVERSE

If you have a car with automatic transmission and the transmission shifter is stuck in park and you cannot shift to drive, reverse, or neutral in this video we will explain how to override the transmission shifter and shift your car in drive neutral or reverse so you can get it out of the way, move it around the shop or load it on a trailer. If the transmission is stuck in park in means that there is a problem and driving the car that way is very dangerous. We demonstrated how to override the transmission shifter on this car because the brake light switch was bad and it did not register the brake pedal being pressed. Hopefully the video will be helpful to any of you that need help with transmission shifter that is stuck in park and cannot shift in drive reverse or neutral.

Hi Guys thanks for the videos I have a Mazda CX7 2011 114k miles I just changed the Sparks With Iridium ones but I feel like the gas is evaporating really fast any suggestions or something I should change, it drives very smooth doesn’t have no problems. Thanks

My problem is i cant move the handle while pressing the yellow on my skoda but it still reads on R i cant start the car or remove the key it took me alot to remove it then i tried agin and got stuck

I had a tow truck guy do this it is In park but it wont register in park on my car so my key is stuck it’s a cord focus same kind of system as this video
