It isn't illegal in the US record calls as long as one party consents (which you would be a party to your phone conversations). Some states do require all parties to consent, but most follow the federal law that only requires one party consent.

I saw that changing the CSC of the phone to Thailand or a country that supports native call recorder also works. Even if it needs the firmware, ODIN to flash it - it doesn't wipe the personal data and it all works from what I saw, updates, KNOX, everything is fine. This way you can get the native one but I don't know well if anything else changes under the hood of the Android, even if it keeps all the personal data and settings.

Actually here in the US there are states or contextual scenarios where its legal to record. Some states its legal to record your own conversations regardless if the other knows. Also, if the conversation is with your boss/employer, then your right to record is protected by national labor+whistleblower law.

Thought it was a good idea, then found out it is a subscription based service that is paid annually or semi annually. You don’t actually get to own the app free and clear. I am not interested in going that route on ANY app. I don’t see the need to pay for an app every year for the rest of my life. I don’t buy a car that way, why would I buy an app that way. Smart business choice on their part so long as everyone goes for it, but they shouldn't. My opinion is that everyone should let people/app designers like this go under. Don't support them.

It's truly stupid that you Can't record people, because as long as you're listening to the other person, that IS a form of "recording", cause it's recording to your brain.
You shouldn't need "consent" because them talking to you IS their consent. Now, it can be understandable that if you're setting up a "hidden" recording for conversations YOU aren't involved in that could be unreasonable, but even then what are Security Camera's in or outside Businesses or Homes? They often record both Video and Audio without ANYONE's "consent", so Laws against this are simply laws for criminals in government or other corrupt big institutions to get away with their crimes, to not be caught and held to account. That is their ONLY purpose, outside obvious stuff where privacy is expected like bathrooms.

Hello all, I have an s23 Ultra and Cube ACR call recording is not working - no audio on recordings.
During the setup phase of Cube ACR it did not mention the App Connector (i also uninstalled and reinstalled - no luck). So i manually went to the Accessibility - Installed Apps, menu. I dont see Cube ACR even listed here? Any idea why?
