Brought my 2018 Santa Fe in for service yesterday for that exact squeek and they "could not find the issue" even though I gave them a video with the sound and even asked them to check that exact belt. Thanks for posting this as I will be fixing this myself since Hyundai dealer is pretty much useless.

That squeak was a recurring annoyance on the Kia Ceed GT as well. It seemed to keep getting loose with time again. Maybe the pivot should have been tightened as well. Never noticed to do that.

Hey so what about when it squeals only when accelerating? I already replaced the serp belt so I don't think its the belt itself. The squeal sounds likr it's coming from the alternator.

Have a hyubdai elantra and squeeking when turning, gets louder the more I drive.

Lifters are a little noisy....but overall sounds 100 times better.(might just be the way the mic picked up sound)

Sorry, but the Sonata's, Santa Fe's with 2.4 Ltr. engines have Automatic Belt Tensioner. I have a 2012 Sonata and I have replaced the belts as preventive maintenance and there is no need for me to adjust the belt tension.

It doesnt specify which belt this is though. I have an 05 Tucson and one of my belts squeaks only sometimes. I believe that its the serpentine belt, but not entirely sure.
