07 - Import Data from an Another Excel Workbook using Power Query

In this video, I will show you how to get the data from another Excel workbook into your current workbook.

This can be really useful when you use the data from a file that is often updated and you have to use the updated data. Instead of manually doing it, you can easily use Power Query to connect the external workbook with your current workbook. If the data changes after a few days, you can get the new data instantly with a single click.

Can we use power Query to combine data either from several workbooks
Or several sheets from several workbooks.
Also the important scenario is all data Has no relation with each other's. Actually I'm looking to import data from a total of 5 workbooks and approx more than 30 sheets. If there is a way to connect with you I can explain the requirement in more detail

thanks a lot for your efford but have a question for another case related to that one. So I have that Sales Data file which we pull the datas to the other sheet in the video, ok. But lets say I also have another file which I just only have SOME of those item's name in it, not all of them. Imagine, I only want to pull quantity and price colum of those Items that I have in my file .How can we do that? I hope you would record a video of that case too or guide me . Thanks.

i have a question, if we connected the way you connect and we close the first Excel file the source is it will say error or smth like that, which mean that the source has been colsed the the Excel will not provide you the data, is it true?
