Plenty of adventurers want to take on a challenge simply because it’s difficult. If someone is told not to climb a mountain or explore a cave, they’re only going to want to do it more. This has been the motivation of the divers who have tried to take on Jacob’s Well, a Texas sinkhole that leads to an underwater cave system. Sadly, it has caused the deaths of multiple divers, and in some cases, rescue divers have been unable to retrieve their bodies. How about instead of barring it, you put up a sign that simply states “Enter at your own peril. We will not retrieve your corpse when you die”

I would love if there were a really small drone-like camera that could explore down there. So we could all explore it while not dying.

How about using a remote scuba camera type of drone to go through it with lights and such.

There's a similar lake in Greece with a cave system, where lots if divers were lost and never found again. Scientists found out that it has a steady current downwards that drags you down with no effort but then it's impossible to swim back up. It's Vouliagmeni lake, on the south end if Athens.
