My 11 year old daughter has been suffering pretty much her whole life but the headaches and pains all over her body really started at about 5 years old. Doctors repeatedly blow off my concerns and get mad when I bring up information or studies. They commonly just say "drink more water" or "it's probably just stress/anxiety" (this one has happened to me my entire adult life too so I'm not really surprised except that she's a young child being blamed for her own problems and not being helped for her chronic issues). I finally laid it all out on the table to her medical provider about a week ago and I said, "I don’t know what else I can do to advocate for my child. I have one child who skateboards and plays baseball all day and I have one child who has headaches and stomach aches all day everyday, who constantly gets dizzy and nauseous even while sitting down, fatigued 24/7, cannot breathe at any amount of extertion, pains in her bones or muscles that make it hard to walk (so she has a strange gait), red rash all over her body that persists for weeks, sleep apnea, lacy discoloration (sort of like livedo reticularis but smaller spacing) on her entire body, dime sized purplish-pink spots under her skin on her leg for years that keep accumulating more and more and never go away. Stabbing in her chest that comes and goes (she was born with a mitral valve prolapse but unsure whether the pains in chest are related or concerning or not). Chronic ear infections, extremely poor concentration and struggle with comprehension to the point of being diagnosed with Specific Learning Disability at school. I suspect that her and I both might be on the autism spectrum but the waiting lists are years long for an evaluation but could possibly be relevant. I'm probably forgetting a bunch of other things but she's basically just always in pain and always tired. So I begged her medical provider for an inflammation test to see if it could be a systemic issue. It seemed to me that she was having acute issues which might be making the chronic issues worse (myself and my son also had similar acute cutaneous symptoms as my daughter as well as I had burning pain in my spine and arm and for two days I genuinely couldn't catch a breath even while completely still...so I knew this had to be an acute infection that we all got but was much worse for my daughter and I who already have chronic issues). The provider all but scoffed at me and really hated that I brought up any medical information that I had researched. But she ordered the CRP and ESR finally after 3 weeks of my daughters initial visit to the ER for what I suspect was an acute infection or something. Her CRP was 12.5, 3 weeks after the acute issues started where her back was in so much pain that she couldn't walk. Her ESR was 16. They said that her CRP was just a teeny bit high which can go up and come down quickly with an acute infection. But that it was not at all worrisome because the ESR was 16 (they said that the normal range for a prepubescent girl was 0-20 which I can't find much info on whether that is the correct range but I have to assume it is) and if the ESR is in normal range then there's no way that my daughter could have a chronic inflammation problem. Is that accurate? And whose to say that those values wouldn't have been way higher 3 weeks prior...but I don't know whether that matters. It is very curious though that her medical provider claimed that she was totally fine, with no signs of inflammation or infection. Yet when I force for her inflammatory markers to be tested and the CRP comes back as high, then the medical provider writes the inflammation off as "just a quick rise in inflammation due to like a regular old infection". So my question then is...well what was the infection then?
My 11 year old daughter wants to throw in the towel with doctors but I have to keep searching for answers because she just suffers all day long. Can anyone tell me whether those inflammation levels would be cause for more investigation in a young girl?

My father's CRP is 105 mg/dl and he is having fever, cough and before that set in he had cold, runnynose !
Doctor prescribed broad-spectrum antibacterial as well. What's the normal range for CRP when we calculate in dl instead of L?

Hi,

My mother is with covid-19 these days, initially it was good, then she had a bad SPO2 for a moment it dropped to 78, then she went to the hospital, the value of crp was 170-180, today there was an increase in temperature up to 40 degrees, the value of crp today is 155 slightly lower than yesterday, the value of oxygen now ranges around 85-93, is its situation very dangerous?
It should be on days 10-11 that you are infected with Covid-19.

I would greatly appreciate it if you would reply to me because we are very worried.
