I no by now you have finished painting you’re boat but If I may In the coast guard we primed the deck whether it was aluminum or steel them we laid down the deck paint and we used a hand held Scott’s seeder to spread the non skid over it it lasted at least six mouths . But what I used later on my sailboats is this none skid like rhino liner from home depo for porch and patio I no what you’re thinking but as long as it’s Applied right it might just work for you and it’s a lot cheaper than the Apoxsee’s good luck and keep up the good work god bless

For future reference if you wanna use the Moffitt to remove the truck cap try just keeping a pallet on the forks maybe a couple? The forks them won't have to go up so high and will clear the window

A couple straps or lengths of rope and a couple pieces of pipe over the forks allows you to lift from above. Its even easier if you were to put roof racks on the cap.

Um, some trestles set at the right height to receive your top as it slides off?
Then it can live on the trestles until you’re ready to drive back and fit it back on.
