Prof. Fatoumata Hane is a socio-anthropologist, specialist in health issues, particularly in Africa, and a research professor in the Department of Sociology at Assane Seck University in Ziguinchor, Senegal.

Moderated by Injonge Karangwa, UGHE's Director, Arts and Culture in Global Health Public Engagement, “Rethinking Health Across Disciplines” is a series that was initiated by UGHE in November 2021 to reflect on the challenges that the Covid-19 pandemic unveiled.
