In my hometown Guarapari- Brazil we eat Moqueca capixaba and bobó de camarão. Basically the main dish is a fish stew that we eat with rice and a shrimp paste side dish. Where I’m from we had easy access to fresh seafood since it’s a coastal town.
I miss the ocean very much! 💛💚

True, depending on the region the dish variates itself. I enjoy the rabbit paella more 🥘. You should try gachas, migas, Spanish tortilla and ofc with these colds:cocido ❤

My family is from Perú
Lomo Saltado is "everyone's" favorite with salsa criolla
Purple Corn drink Chicha morada is absolutely delicious
Favorite treat are alfajores-sandwich cookie filled with dulce de leche
The foods are elevated by spices, herbs, and their unique chilis: aji Amarillo, rocoto, and aji verde
Arroz con leche is also a popular comfort food

The one I had in Barcelona was all seafood and was delicious. I think that’s how I prefer it. Paella must be the precursor of Jambalaya.

In Samoa we eat many traditional things like coco rice which I hope you’ll one day give a try

In my hometown, Porto - there's a lot to choose from. Francesinha and Tripas à Moda do Porto (tripes, porto style) are the most famous examples and the most regional, but there's plenty more. We focus on simple but tasty food
