Since the arrival of the Tornado GR4 it is safe to say that the Lancaster now has to share its place as crowd-favourite amongst our visitors!

The Lancaster was delivered on 1st Dec 62, flying over Perry Lakes one hour after the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Perth. ✈️ Since then it has nestled itself nicely here at the Aviation Heritage Museum.
We love seeing the face our visitors make when walking into our Northern Hangar and seeing the sheer size of this astonishing aircraft! 👀

Although visitors can only explore the outside of the aircraft unless booking one of our guided aircraft tours, we thought we give you some little snippets of how it looks inside!!!
