i didnt bother to do the divide by 2 until after I had my i got the same answer but remainder was different... i got - 7/(2x+1) I assumed you had to divide all the coefficients by but based on your answer then in a case where there is an a-variable you would leave the remainder alone and just put it over the divisor.... would this be fine also?

Why in question 4 did you only times the 7/x+1/2 by 2 and not the rest of the polynomial (8x^2-10x+12) ??

you said what we could do is multiply the top and bottom by two. Does this mean that the step is optional? Would the answer still be correct if we didn't do that?

Why do we keep going from x to the 3rd power to x to the 2nd power in the answers? Am I missing something?
