god I relate so much to this. I was just diagnosed a few months ago at 31 and a mental breakdown brought me into my psych’s office to re-evaluate my diagnosis. We are still figuring out the right dosage, especially around that time of the month, but it has already made such a positive difference in my life. Thank you for sharing.

I discovered just two weeks ago that I have very likely had ADHD my entire life and it blows my mind that your video on this topic launched just as I’m learning all about it! 🙌❤️ And I’m in my 50s! Thank you so much for this video and any follow ups you do. Congrats on finding validation and a great medication so far! 🎉I am just now in the process of finding the right doc for me to get tested.

Thank you for sharing this. Listening to your story feels like hearing my own ADHD journey. Almost everything you mentioned—feeling bored in school, struggling with constant depression, having an overactive mind, wanting to be self-employed so no one tells me what to do, relying on phone reminders, endless to-do lists, memory issues, afternoon fatigue, and constantly starting but not finishing things - resonates deeply with me. You've made me feel more 'normal'. I was diagnosed just two years ago as an adult woman.

Omg this was me. I’d read for forever and I’d not follow the rules so they just skipped my grade because I was bored. The only thing I cared about was being stimulated. Then adulthood started and I’m like completely lost. Got diagnosed 3 days ago - I have been in tears just thinking how did I not know for so long.

It's crazy that gender seemingly determines so much in terms of prejudices faced by both men and women when it comes to mental health issues by so-called professionals. (As you note) women with ADHD get written off as just having depression or anxiety while the reverse is true in terms of men with anxiety and depression issues not being taken as seriously.

It is common for females to be diagnosed late in age. My daughter was diagnosed with ADHD at 11 yrs and it wasn't until that evaluation that I was told she could also be on the spectrum. After further testing we found out she is on the spectrum as a Level 1. Some of the things you mentioned in your video about when you were a kid remind me of my daughter. She excelled in school and was in gifted classes, and she often complains that certain subjects are "boring". Females are very good at 'masking', so being on the spectrum can sometimes be missed or are diagnosed much later in life. It might be something else you want to talk with your doctor about to see if you could also be on the spectrum in addition to your ADHD.

This video is honestly super helpful I have also struggles with my undiagnosed adhd, I have talked to a therapist about it and we came to the conclusion that I had adhd but not the typical “boy hyperactive adhd” I showed more symptoms of the innatentive presentation of ADHD

If you have adhd then you shouldnt be ashamed or ridiculed for it. Embrace it, accept it as part of who you are. You cant change it so why fight it, just enjoy your life and enjoy the things you like doing. As long as you are happy thats all that matters. Its your life and if peopele dont accept it or like it thats their problem not yours

You’re just doing everything… adhd, Botox, Ozempic, etc. I think you’d benefit from learning about Bryan Johnson’s blueprint!
