At least you speak the truth, thank you for that.
I have a hidden learning disability and find difficulty with certain every day tasks… But who cares: I’ve had a very bad experience with my city council about housing 10 years ago and I’m still without an accommodation; as I got a phobia about housing after that experience and never approached them again. I tried hard to rely on myself and private rent for the last 10 years, but post pandemic I got 107 times job-rejection and now I’m a rough homeless for 12 days again! In addition recently I’m experiencing depression and there is a noticeable decrease in my overall well-being: I’m experiencing hair lost and dry and itchy skin.

I’ve 100% eligibility with disability and medical reports. But being a single adult council doesn’t care even if one dies.

When I tell people about my situation most of them say that I’m too naive! They say you need to be manipulative in order to get an accommodation! I don’t know honestly it makes sense, but why should it be that way?

I’m about to become homeless on 18th September as I’m being evicted from temporary asylum accommodation in Westminster, London. I have severe Depression, Anxiety, and PTSD, and I’m on medication. I also have a history of domestic violence and sexual harassment, which has made my mental health worse. I’ve got medical reports and evidence from my GP and therapist that detail my conditions and the risks I face without stable housing.

I’m really worried about what’s going to happen next. Does anyone have advice on how to approach Westminster Council for emergency housing, especially given my situation?
