I've read most of Colleen's books and this is probably the best i've read so far. Ending compeltely caught me off guard.

Thrillers Can be really creepy but still they keep you on guard and curious all the time. I would love to see you read more thrillers. If you feel like reading one then I recommend The Silent patient. That book is very less creepy but just brilliant

spoiler warning if you haven’t read verity:

this is what i don’t get that i’m curious about. with verity faking her injuries, i’m wondering how the hell did she pull all of that off?? she had her in-home nurses who took care of her for most of the day but were they in on what she’s doing? i really wanna know if april and the other nurse (i forgot her name) knew she didn’t have any brain damage and were just playing along to her act. i remember jeremy even said that the doctor told him verity could be in that state indefinitely. so were these medical professionals playing along or did they actually not know because i find it hard to believe they didn’t know. i feel like verity maybe orchestrated it to make her condition look more believable??

idk but i find it hard to believe they didn’t know she was faking the whole time 🤷‍♀️

unpopular opinion: Lowen should have gotten out of there ASAP and more importantly, she shouldn't have hooked up w/ Jeremy. He was a married man, even though he was married to psycho-Verity. Can't blame it on the chemistry in this case... both of them were weak.
And you're right - Something is seriously off about Jeremy. If a continuation of Verity were to exist, I would BET that Lowen would be in a dangerous situation in it.

Okay so I m team manuscript and I absolutely think verity's letter was a lie..
She wrote the letter after Jeremy and lowen did it in her old bedroom..like of all time she chose that time to write letter to prove her innocence?? Because she knew that lowen and Jeremy would soon be in a relationship and lowen would tell him about all the manuscript thing...so she would end up in jail and lowen also kinda knew she was pretending so yeah!
Also if verity was really telling truth in the letter why was there a scar on Harper's face from birth??
Why would Jeremy care for his verity his wife( when she was in vegetative state) when he only tried to kill her!! if he ran her in the car than he would surely try to kill her so that she never tells anyone truth..ryt??
Also if Jeremy ran his wife in tree than there's no way police wouldn't find it... so yeah this all seems to point out that verity is lying
But I want to know ur opinion Alexa..do u agree with Me??

I had mixed feelings when I started it because I thought it's gonna be an overhyped Booktok book which isn't actually as great as everyone said. But a soon as I started it I loved it. It's definitely worth the hype

Just finished the book today, and I believe the letter. I believe Jeremy is a snakeeee and agree completely with the random falling in love scenes. Absolutely hated it and I wanted her to leave him hahaha
