My husband died in my arms on 4-10-21 we were married 27 wonderful years never had a cross word with each other. I tell people this to let them know if you LOVE some one tell them every day, I did and I am so happy I did. Andy always know I LOVE you to the MOON and back. With my HEART. Your loving wife Linda.

My Daddy left us Oct.11, 1991. He was only 46. Suicide. Daddy, do you remember that we danced 1 night, like a million years ago? I miss you every day. 💔

My husband died at 46 in 2017. I was driving down the country road and this song came on and I pulled over to cry my eyes out . There are NO words . Jesus take the wheel

For the 57th time, I have to watch this! Thank you Garth for standing as you are, a believer, a husband and father and yes Garth…you are just that…a songwriter!

Tony Arata really outdid himself when he wrote ‘The Dance’ because it’s one of the most powerful songs that Garth had ever recorded. My hat’s off to Mr. Arata for writing this song.

His statement at the end was my favorite part. SO GARTH! I love that man! One of the BEST concerts I have ever seen in my 60 years on this planet was his when I lived in Vegas. Stood in line all night to get tickets and it was WORTH IT! Excellent showman! His music NEVER gets old and neither does his infectious enthusiasm for life!!! Thank God for Garth Brooks!

Seeing Garth perform live is something I’ll never forget!!! He puts his heart and soul into every show he does and that’s the beauty of it. I hope he doesn’t stop touring, there needs to be more musicians out there like him, who is like all of us, wonderful gifts from God.

I suddenly lost my wife at Christmas 2016. At her Memorial service I asked Allan Blasco front man for the Kansas Hall of Fame Band, Riverrock to perform this song. He was so Beautiful and watered our eyes. I think it was so appropriate as she and I didn't have much but we had each other and we made it through some tough years. Thank you Garth Brooks for this song, every time I hear it I get a Bittersweet memory. RIP Laurie

I recently lost my husband. He was a wonderful man kind and loving. For over 20 years he was a volunteer. Fire fighter. My personal hero. This song makes me realize how I was so lucky to have him in my life. It was worth the dance. I'll love him always. I'll never forget this song . Sang by the BEST singer in the world.

Yesterday we said goodbye to our precious little pet after 17 years. I wasn't prepared for the pain of that moment. A friend quoted the words to this song. I listened. It eased the pain by giving us the way to think about it for the rest of our lives. Sometimes a song transcends simple entertainment and communicates something for the ages. God bless you Mr. Brooks, for giving me and this entire world this profound and priceless message of love, gratitude and truth...in song.

I lost my wife over 5 years ago, I keep coming back. A beautiful song. I wouldn't change a thing about the time I had with her.

My daughter, NICOLE, at age six would cry when she would hear this song. At 20, she died. Now I cry every time I hear it.
