Breakfast Sausage Biscuit

1 pound Certified Angus Beef ® ground beef, 75% or 80% lean
2 teaspoons kosher salt, divided
3/4 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper, divided
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon granulated onion
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
1/2 teaspoon dried sage
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
5 eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons milk
1 (16-ounce) tube biscuit dough
1 tablespoon butter
4 slices cheddar cheese

Breakfast Beef Chorizo Recipe:

INGREDIENTS:
1 pound Certified Angus Beef ® ground beef, 80% lean
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon paprika
2 teaspoons cumin
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon coarse ground pepper
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon allspice (optional)

Chorizo beef sausage gravy with biscuits or toast. Did it for dinner one night and need to do it again. Used CAB brisket trimmings to make the sausage.
