Cavill was 6ft. He was the tiny little bro squished between a 6’4 Batman and 6’5 Aquaman… I’m glad we finally have a giant of a man for Superman again.

I... like many people, was upset about how dirty they did Henry Cavill. I wanted to see him play the man of hope we know Superman to be.
That being said, David Corenswet looks great, is the perfect height, and has a nice deep voice. I think he's going to be a fantastic Superman.

He's nearly on par with Cavill in Man of Steel (for the majority of the movie, not the scenes where hes shirtless and has time to prepare for those few seco ds of screentime). Plus Corenswet is taller than Cavill, which is a plus.

It might not be great, but we do hope that by retouching in post production, the suit will look alright. We are massive Cavill fans, but even we can recognize why this choice was made. Worth nothing that he’s said that he shed most of the size once shooting was complete due to how arduous maintaining his diet and training was during production, so any footage we see of his physique today is probably not reflective of what he’ll look like in the film
