When you demoed the pitch modulation feature, I definitely took notice of how you insisted on leaving the speed dial at the maximum setting the entire time without playing with it (like you did with the chorus and the flanger) to give us an idea of how it affects the pitch modulation. I noticed a couple of times where you started to turn the "Speed" knob, but ultimately decided not to, for whatever reason. I was hoping you'd turn it so I could hear the effect of the pitch modulation change gradually.

It's all good, though. I got one of these on order. So, I'm looking forward to experiencing it for myself soon. I think this is going to sound great on synthesizers, especially the ones with only a mono audio output!!!

Cool demo. I just for the life of me can’t imagine why you started turning down the rate in pitch modulation mode, and didn’t. multiple times 😅 I got all fidgety just watching it. Pitch vibe is best at low speed and high intensity, and we never heard it! I’m gonna need to find another demo that does now, or I won’t sleep tonight 😂

I bought the SCF gold and ended up sending it back. The modulation sounds are glorious, but the bypassed sound was a big problem. The preamp on the SCF is always on and it added enough noise to the signal to be really annoying. Neither the Walrus Audio Julia nor the BOSS CE-2w do that, they add absolutely zero noise when bypassed. Wouldn’t matter if you use a looper/switcher, but I don’t.

Really cool chorus! Would also love to see it compared to other choruses, like the Small/Neo Clone, which is one of my favorites. I really miss a "manual" control for the flanger though. The MXR flanger is hard to beat for me (EHX Electric Mistress is also great). All that said, I've been using the Ibanez Tonelok CF7 chorus/flanger a LOT, it's a really respectable chorus AND flanger, with the added bonus that it does the Limp Bizkit "My Way" sound.
