"On that day, the veil of the temple was rent."
I am suddenly struck with the realization that the veil symbolizes the separation between life and death and the separation between us and God. In this way, the rending of the temple veil is not only a symbol of the sorrow and grief God experienced when the savior was put to death, but of the Resurrection that was still to come. Even in His pain, God was seemingly reminding us of the hope that was in His son, Jesus Christ.
Thank God for Jesus. Thank God for Hope. Thank God for the resurrection and repentance that we might return to be with Him and to be with our loved ones once again!

I never got the chance to listen to this apostle speak. However, I am grateful I have the chance now thanks to recording technology and the internet. I feel like he is an honest and lowly servant of the Lord. I hope he is with his family now after having to endure life without them.
