Boy oh boy, this is one I'd might just pull mb out and see if I could get it to post sitting on test bench. Then it might make it easier to untangle the rat's nest. Nothing I saw on initial video made me feel good about this one. Good luck on this one Tim.

After seeing the mb screws, Ram, and bent pins on CPU I'm wondering if the USB 3 connector pins are bent also. Found that on a mb once and it knocked out all usb ports, BIOS could not even recognize any usb drive and all usb ports were intermittent. That took awhile to straighten out the pins and get the USB connector to seat properly.

It’s like you’re dealing with a secret shopper and they were like, send him the most atrocious thing ever

Was he blindfolded when he built this system?

Also the M.2 drive looked like it was bent a little by forcing the screw down.

The customer looked at too many YouTube channels that make it look like it takes 10 minutes to build a PC with snazzy features. Just because the video is 10 minutes doesn't mean it took 10 minutes. Many build channels are marketing channels. I used the mechanical pencil technique on bent pins. The m.2 drives have itty bitty screws thus you need a pack of spare screws. What happened to the screws that came in the motherboard box...and...the manual...

That beginner builder was still better than The Verge.

That's because content creators show installing mother board screws with a battery powered cordless screw driver. You don't know if their was damage to the layers of the motherboard . We need a part 2 !

Can't leave us hangin-so what ended up happening with the original standoffs?

This guy should be sent to detention and forced to watch a whole bunch of Carey Holzman's videos. If Carey saw this PC I think he'd have a heart attack!

Trying to think what those flat head screws were meant to be for.

Building 101: You CAN'T force stuff together, without eventually breaking something. Mistakes happen, but that should be an easy lesson for anyone. If something isn't going together as it should, there's a problem.

I lose hope in people seeing that they can barely build a PC properly, quite obvious on how it’s done atleast imo..

Are you sure it was a human being who "assembled" this PC?
