Oh Corrinne, I am so sorry about your accident. What a year you have had. You will be okay! This was a jam-packed Shopcast! Loved all of the wooly goodness. Marie did an excellent job on her sweater and her video. I enjoyed it very much. Emma and Kelsey gave some excellent ideas as to what to do with some of the yarn I have purchased. Finally I found the comment section so I can add my 2 cents worth in LOL When I saw the crutches being pulled out my jaw actually dropped open! I have been the recipient of those several times and pretty soon you can really tear around at warp speed with them.
Sorry it had to happen but down! Loved the shop cast as usual, knitting as I listen. Moving to a bigger space?? whoop,

Aida Boza . Hello Corinne and Maggie your sweaters are lovely and so is Marie’s pullover I liked her explanation of the construction of the pullover so much, very clear. Corinne I’m sorry about your fall. I broke my ankle in the inside and outside a few years ago, I did exactly what my doctor told me. Six weeks with a cast! But it was better than the surgery which I thought I may have to have. I will recommend to you is to fallow your doctor’s advice. Take care ❤

I am so glad to hear you have that support while you are on crutches. I fell down a staircase in 2021 while living away from my husband for work. I started to realize something was really wrong about 1am and i called the hotel staff and they came into my room with ice and a cane and so much caring and concern i too got up and went to work in the morning. I had torn all my ligaments and it took me months to recover, but being surrounded by people who cared kept me going every day. :) we are so lucky in so many ways.

Corinne, so sorry to hear about your ankle! Glad you have a great hospital right nearby, and hopefully it heals quickly and fully. I was so busy pouncing on cones that I didn't watch the shopcast until later--love the whole thing. So many great yarns, and Kelsie and Emma are always full of woolly insight. I got a cone of 122 and some balls of 1285 to make a Whalsay by Marie Wallin. Happy knitting to all my fellow Thistlers.
