His shirt got me thinking, might nividia shield get Steam certified? I don't think it would make much of a difference from how the shield works now, but it would be awesome if valve were to back the product and make a few tweaks and improvements.

I wouldn't even go as far as to say that, they're basically just doing what sites like Cyberpower and IBuyPower do, except they will have a specific line to choose from (and probably edit in some ways), they will be making them in small form factors, they will have Steam OS, and since Valve's biggest goal is to get more people on Steam, they will probably make them cheaper than what you could get from IBuyPower and Cyberpower. And hopefully it can kill off/force change upon Alienware.

steam should just let people use the steam os on their self built computers. make it THE GAMING OS. and not be limited to hardware that their makers supply.

I love because Valve is making an OS based on Linux everyone is saying the future of gaming...wont be for a while, because not everyone is going to switch to linux just for gaming, its a nice start and im excited but i dont think itll be the "future" imo

I'm still torn on gaming on SteamBox with Nvidia, or Windows with AMD Mantle hmm.... PC gaming is getting divided...
