I would love to see a few "premium" SE guitars with US pickups. I've heard a lot of people say the import "s" pickups are the SEs only weak point. Imagine instead of a 900 dollar PRS SE with "s" pickups, what if there was a separate option for basically the same guitar but with US pickups for around 1, 200? I'm sure a lot of people would pay a little more for a slightly more premium SE.

just bought a 2022 s2 custom 24. I have not heard a difference between the USA pups and the G&B ones in mine.

The goal should also upgrade my new custom24 s2's pickups too. Or at least a discount, that would be "freaking amazing" to me. I don't want to miss out on the tone, the way I see it 2100 should get me the same as people who got the newer model.

I bought an S2 a few years back and can attest that the pickups were a lot to be desired. It was muddy and lacked any clarity. Build of the guitar itself was astonishing, but only to be taken back by a lame, meh sounding pickup that I intend to swap out.
