I love the fact that you rescued him and raised him well and if it's ment for him to return day after day to you for food after released is understandable but make it accessable for him to have a opening to fly out when he wants and able to return he loves you so he will stay continue to return day in and day out at least give it a chance. Love what you're doing.

I raised one from a storm. They are very loving. When he got older, I gave him to the Oklahoma City Zoo so he could have a large and safe place. I still miss him.

UPDATE: I posted this when I first found this channel. I have, since, educated myself about the situation, and now I understand Oaky's story, how and why he came to be in this lady's (licensed) care, and why this really is the best place for him. I regret having posted the original comment and have been tempted to delete it. Doing so, though, would delete every connected comment, and I don't want people to erroneously accuse the lady of having deleted the comments out of control. I would rather encourage everyone to watch the videos, research other matters like I did, and realize that Oaky is in the best place for Oaky.

Bless this lady for having saved Oaky's life, and for giving him such a good home, love, and wonderful experiences.

I grew up in the city and had never heard an owl. Then I moved to the suburbs and heard a hooting in a giant tree out back. It was a spiritual experience. He ( "Ollie") returns every August. ❤
