Mom guilt is real. As a mom myself, I understand all too well the pressure we put on ourselves to exceed everyone's expectations (our own being the most demanding).

It's easy to look back and wish we had done things differently - spent more time creating memories or having our kids photographed professionally each year. I totally get it.

We're quick to beat ourselves up for missing the mark on what we see as perfection, as unfair as that is.

So you can imagine how thrilled I was to hear from my client that this experience erased all of those feelings for her.💕

With her son being born during Covid, she really regretted missing out on maternity and newborn photos and felt like the milestones were slipping away.

But the amazing thing about a Love & Legacy heirloom portrait is it can be "the" portrait for your child. You will no longer feel like you've missed the opportunity to capture his or her childhood in a timeless and authentic way.

One of my biggest regrets is not having a portrait like this of our older kids. It wasn't on my radar, even as a photographer, and I will always be heartbroken about that.
