Now we see it in all Marvel movies but this was the first of its kind back then

James Cameron says most of his concepts he gets in his dreams. This whole movie was writtenby him. The guy has some exceptional divinity in him. He's extremely intelligent and has always mixed technology with a touch of human essence be it Terminator, Abyss and Avatar.

Avatar had to be rewatched like I just did in prep for The Way of Water. Aside from some small things I didn’t like, it is an an achievement visually and I’m still shocked it’s the highest grossing film ever. 13 years later, we get a sequel that I’m excited to see. 🌊💙

It somehow took me so long to update this after seeing the sequel, but here’s what I thought of it: Avatar: The Way of Water succeeds as a sequel that returns us to Pandora. There’s some stupid plot annoyances and scenes that go on for way too long, but I was never bored and the visuals are once again impressive.
