Avatar: The Way of Water | Official Teaser Trailer

Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, “Avatar: The Way of Water” begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.

Directed by James Cameron and produced by Cameron and Jon Landau, the film stars Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement and Kate Winslet.

Star Wars (George Lucas) and Avatar (James Cameron) have an extremely important element that movies just don't have these days. They create these environments and creatures where you want to know the geography, anatomy, personality, you just want to learn EVERYTHING about the atmosphere. They are extremely creative with their designs and are always so breathtaking and outwardly and most of all: impressive and ORIGINAL. You just don't get that from most things anymore (even the comic book stuff tbh) and I'm glad they are the franchises to have carried out that important element of filmmaking. Which is honestly why they are among my favorite series/films of all time.

i first watched "avatar" when i was three years old, sitting on my mum's lap in the cinema and never once taking my eyes off the screen. reading all these articles literally brings me to tears and makes me so incredibly excited to finally be able to watch the sequel - "avatar" will always be my most valued and my most memorable experience at the cinema. like ever.

I’m curious now, after 13years to see what new rendering advancements they’ve implemented in this film like physics, textures and lighting etc.
