Rustoleum satin black paint job

I use 2 quarts of rustoleum satin black paint and thin it with 1.5 quarts of acetone

Thanks for sharing your mixture. I'm totally going to do this to my mercury grand marquis. I did it flat black last time and regretted it since satin and matte are my favorite finishes. I've done 3 rustoleum paint jobs so far and I'm ready for this is one to be the best I've done yet.

Thanks for sharing! I can see how much light reflection in satin. Semi gloss could be similar but this shows the difference.

are you sure>>you used 2 quarts satin with 1.5 quarts acetone ?thats a 45 to 55 ration, , thats nuts...its came out unbeleavably good thou!!good job..i am going to do the same with the same truck and just wanted to make sure that ratio was correct

That's absolutely outstanding. I'm guessing that you alot of prepwork before any painting was done. I'd also like to know what the longevity of a paint job like this.

Looks really nice. What kind've gun and compressor did you use? How is the paint holding up? Is it easy to wipe down after you wash it?
