Author Betty J. Kovacs, Ph.D., a recognized expert, shares her knowledge and passion through her books, speaking, teaching, and media interviews in the United States and Europe. She speaks to national and global audiences through webinars, keynote presentations, and media interviews. She received her Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine, in Comparative Literature and Theory of Symbolic/ Mythic Language.

She taught Literature, Writing, and Symbolic/Mythic Language for twenty-five years. She served many years as Chair and Program Chair on the Board of Directors of the Jung Society of Claremont in California and sits on the Academic Advisory Board of Forever Family Foundation.

Within a three-year period, she experienced the deaths of her mother, her son, and her husband in separate automobile accidents. While she had studied shamanism before her son’s accident, she and her husband experienced their son’s consciousness after his death for an extended period. These experiences completely changed their lives. Her first book, The Miracle of Death: There Is Nothing But Life, is about these altered states of consciousness.

After her retirement, she began an intensified period of research into our ancestors’ experience of a vaster consciousness, Cosmic/Christ Consciousness, which she relates in her new book, Merchants of Light: The Consciousness That Is Changing the World, winner of the Nautilus Silver Book Award and The Scientific & Medical Network 2019 Book Prize.

I lost my beautiful son a year ago. Then God showed me this show. These interviews have helped me get through the most tragic time in my life. Thank you beyond and back again. Months ago, I was so down I wanted to join my son, when my grandson was woken by a hand strongly shaking his shoulder, and came to tell me. I feel it was my son. I miss him so much.

I grew up Catholic too and started questioning it as I got older. The feeling of being guilty for everything and the punishment of going to hell for eternity if I don't tell an older male priest all of my "sins". As a young woman of color, it's a strange concept. Especially having a picture of a white Jesus on the walls of our house. It just felt like a form of control to me. Being told to worship someone who looks the complete opposite of me and being told that was the image of those who "deserved to be worshipped". Many religions don't make their prophets and gods in the image of humans for a good reason. So that followers don't falsely worship people who happen to look like those prophet images and who might have bad intentions. Religion is a form of control. This is why it sparks wars. Spirituality is a connection to everyone and everything. I choose the spiritual route.

When I spoke to Jesus, he told me many things, and at the end I asked, but what should I tell people when I’m asked, he said, tell them to love each other as I love you ….. that’s a lot of love ya’ll

I too went to Catholic School and the Nuns kept saying Jesus was Son of God. I kept reading Jesus saying He was the Son of Man, the nuns could never explain the contradiction.I was 14

I’m a recovering 67 year old Catholic too! I love that. I was 11 years old when I started questioning the sisters at the Catholic school. I know what the ruler feels like. Lol!! That only made me more determined to find the truth. So glad you found it too!!💖💫💖💫
