What was losely mentioned but couldn't be stated enough is that the inclusion of full Traktor Pro 4 software priced at €150, - makes this package an absolute steal. Especially because Traktor, unlike most DJ software nowadays, is subscription-free, which is a godsend.

Quality is bang on, amazing starting point for anyone looking to start on their journey. Add a Z1 Mk.2 and it all fits in a very small bag too. Just need a new F1 Mk.3 and I'll be very happy. I started out with Traktor 2, tried all the others but came back to Traktor with the S4 Mk.3. Traktor is just so logical for me and the fact that it's not subscription is brilliant. The X1 and Z1 make fine ultra portable tools on their own but can also double as a backup to my S4. Hats off to Native Instruments for their latest offerings.

Traktor needs to make a standalone unit that can run its software without a computer. The S5 was so close to being there with its waveform displays and intuitive menus. It was also built like a tank. If they made a more compact standalone version of the S5 that I could fit in my backpack I'd pay big money for it.

Just got one to use with my Xone 96. The LED’s on the X1 are brighter with the power cable plugged in too.

I use this with my traktor scratch digital vinyl set up. I absolutely love it! Just use my 1210's, xone 96 and x1. Mixing the digital vinyl just makes it feel like im spinning a record

I am happy with my Traktor S2 MKII and 2 Kontrol F1's, jogwheel is a must

I think this really shines with the A&H Mixers or any high quality analog mixer like the model1 etc.

Apart from the Xone K2 there is not really a product doing what this does. Two of these make it possible to play 4 decks with any mixer.

I'm seriously thinking about building such a setup with a model1 or a Xone96. That would be an insane compact techno setup.

Pioneer has nightmares about Traktor. Cheap, reliable, easy to use. Everything Pioneer is not.

setting and deleting cue points...got it. But how do you actually jump to the cue points?

I don’t understand the point of it. It doesn’t have a specialist use that it does better than a conventional DJ setup, and the normal DJ functions it has are more difficult and counterintuitive than a normal setup. I can’t preview my tracks in my headphones? I have to scroll through tiny screens and menus to select my effects? Why reinvent the wheel?

I use mine when I want to sit down and not have a clunky controller on my lap. And of course, virtual DJ has a skin for it. VDJ all the way!!

I bought one at the beginning of the month, they told me that they don't have stock, I contacted support they told me they take 2 weeks, I asked for the cancellation and they don't give me an answer. The official support of native instruments is terrible. The review is good. But I wanted to share my bad experience with Native Instruments so that it doesn't happen to someone else.

Hello! I have a ddj flx10 and a traktor x1 mk3. If i connect the flx10 and the x1 at the same time to rekordbox the x1 doesnt work, the only button lighting up is the one with three lines at the top. How can i connect both of theese so i can use the x1 to control decks 3 and 4 from the flx10?

5:02 decade ago we all ready had 360 rotary. that silly thing move here. when it should be correct all ready when there is no min max...well again mk5 coming.mk6 coming add screens for all knobs to see what it controll, mony mony
