Sadly all non native reptiles are illegal in Australia so no leopard geckos for me. (but I am probably going to get a children’s python)

I was feeding my leopard gecko some wax worms today as a treat and I was dropping them in the food bowl and he was eating them and then there was a small wood chip from the wax worm container on his chin and I went to whip it of then he licked it up should I be worried about impaction? it wasn't very large at all I have always been super careful and I would hate this small accident to be his down fall

I am unsure if i should get leo or blue tongues. I am a beginner with some spare time, space and i could spend some money on one and its equipment, and have parents helping out if needed. I also rather appreciate a lizard i could handle.
